Our content and sessions offer support and general education, not medical diagnosis or treatment.

Support and education, not medical advice

Everything we share, on this website, in our blog and resources, at workshops and events, in support groups, and during sessions, is for support and general education. It is not medical advice, and it isn't a diagnosis or a treatment plan for you.

Skin conditions are personal and vary widely. Always talk to a qualified doctor, dermatologist, or other healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment, medication, or skincare routine.

About our sessions

Some sessions are with members of our clinical partnership team, including dermatologists. These are educational, peer-support conversations. They are not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a replacement for your own doctor.

A video call is not a substitute for an in-person examination. Any guidance you receive is general, based only on what you share during the call. If you need medical care, a prescription, or a procedure, please see a healthcare provider in person.

Personal stories and experiences

Stories shared by our community describe individual experiences. What helped one person may not help another, and a story is never a recommendation that you try the same thing.

Products and ingredients

When we mention a product, ingredient, or brand, it's for education only and isn't an endorsement. Check labels carefully, patch-test new products, and ask a professional if you're unsure whether something is right for your skin.

Your emotional wellbeing

Living with a visible skin condition can affect how you feel about yourself. Our community is here to support you, but we are not a crisis service.

If you are thinking about harming yourself, or you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital right away. Please don't use our contact or booking forms for urgent help, because we may not see your message in time.

Accuracy

We try to keep our information accurate and up to date, but medical understanding changes and we can't guarantee that everything here is complete or current. How you use this information is your choice and your responsibility.
